Motherwell Distilling began in Logan, OH and found its second home in Alexandria, VA. The challenge was to refresh the well respected brand for its new soil, while making it feel unmistakably local.

Anchored by Alexandria's historic Hooff's Run Bridge, a nod to the Logan bridge that inspired the original brand, the identity honors the craftsmanship, grit and local pride of the community that shaped the city. The bridge also serves as a narrative device, bridging Motherwell's small, historic hometowns across markets.
